I try to choose from: Pokemon who do well in battle, Pokemon that have variety in a team, Pokemon that I'd like to have as a bro if Pokemon were real, Pokemon that are cute, etc...
The closest thing to fulfilling all of those requirements would probably be Quagsire. But even then, I just have too many favorites. Snorlax, Milotic, Cloyster, Blastoise, Pidgeot, Luxray, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Aggron and Dragonite all come to mind as other contenders.
