I have very fond memories of a Gallade I had in my first Pokemon Pearl game. It ended up being one of my strongest Pokemon, I was really proud of that back then, most of my friends' strongest mons were their starters of choice, the box legendaries or maybe a Staraptor, but I had this cool, mysterious, post game-only new Pokemon.
Also, it had the coolest moveset ever, close combat destroyed everything, then it had weird shit I've never even seen before like psycho cut and leaf blade. Not to mention all the TMs it could learn, I burned trough so many of them completely changing its moveset on a whim lol.
Also, he's cool AND cute.
