even though you picked the best looking part, the gym battles, and the simplest shots of the other three games, the pokémon game is still the worst looking one
the models in swoosh are simplistic since they're copied directly from a fucking 3ds game, and the lighting makes no sense. characters get a soft toon shader with a slight outline to match the 2D art. but it's not as good as something like dragon ball fighterz where the models look like hand drawn art. then game freak decided to make all the backgrounds look as photorealitic as possible, so all the models clash. and their texture work is fucking terrible so if you get close to anything it looks like a ps2 game
the fucking hat ship from oddysey is higher detail and more polished than literally any screenshot you could take of swoosh and that's just one object
