As you could probably tell by the fact that i went out of my way to purify Metagross... yeah. It was hard. God. I wasn't expecting that from a pokemon game. The fact that your starters don't evolve in this game really hurts them for the last few battles, yeah go fight this team of half pseudolegends with Umbreon and Espeon bro, and don't forget you have to stall the shadow mon until you manage to catch it.
Thanks god you can keep shadow mons even if you lose the fight.
