This ability has got me thinking, since Dhelmise essentially now has 3 STABs.
What if we could train Pokemon to be proficient in attacking with certain types or defending against their weaknesses? Pic related; in this anime episode, the trainer of that Marowak had him sit under waterfalls because he wanted to train him to be stronger against his weakness, Water type attacks.
In lieu of the normal abilities, you could go through whatever Super Training variant you want to choose an ability that boosted a certain attacking type (Steelworker but for any type) or defensive type (Heatproof, etc)?
Would you like the of variety in Pokemon of being able to strengthen a coverage move or protect against a weakness (or even further strengthen a STAB or resistance)? Would it be too powerful on some Pokemon who already have very few weaknesses?
