I'd personally love berries and healing items being combined somehow, I find that berries fall off hard for me almost immediately in most mainline games, only returning to relevancy for things like Lum Berries/Herbs in online play. Even as early as gen 3 they developed a whole extra system to justify berries (Pokeblocks, then Poffins).
