And yes, a non fighting, non psychic type is less fit for the team because it's not 'technically' psychic. I could see it being used IF we lacked psychic/fighting types and needed to boost their teams somehow. Which we don't. We don't even lack thematic Pokemon within those types so there's literally no reason to go looking outside the type pool.
