>>36894858>>36894954Hi. I play Glaceon/Greninja to some success. Pic related. So it can be a great deck.
IF you go first, AND
IF you get the T1 Glaceon to active AND
IF your opponent relies on Lele for set up/other GX abilities for the rest of the game.
Well then you are home-free. But since Shrine/Hoopa became a thing, this is no longer a two-wins-from-three strategy.
It can still be great, but those matches are fewer and further between. Like it will stomp fug decks all day long. Or Gardevoir. Eats them for breakfast. But if the opponent plays Malamar without relying on Dawn Wings, or Fighting with no Lycanroc, well it's tough going with low output. It's probably on par with Sylveon now - below Tier 3.
It is fun and I enjoy it, but I'd be hard pressed to call it a winner of a deck.
Also, in my experience Metagross is one of the easier match-ups, since it's so ability dependent. With Solgaleo in, there tends to be less Guzma. And decks with no Guzma are easy pickings for Volcanion prism.
