The first thing people judge a game from is presentation, and for this game, the first main Pokémon title in an HD capable home console to look exactly like the 3DS titles rightfully deserves criticism and backlash.
Even with the incredibly low power of the Wii compared to its competitors, Nintendo still did the best they could to make them look better than Gamecube titles.
