Hitting the button extends a bridge or circus maguffin in all directions. There are three different lengths indicated by what color/patter/symbol/shit is on the platform.
If a bridge is too long it will cover up the closer buttons or lead to a dead end, forcing you to go the correct length in order to press another button and move on.
Upper part can be the actual stage or backstage if you want
Whole thing makes the shape of a crescent moon (the dark symbol) and a smiley face. And the correct path makes a similar shape.
Still has a few kinks, especially the bridge that covers up the leader, but brb for feedback/insults/anything to get back on topic
