Signature moves are ass. Sigs have always been a thing but ever since Gen 6/7+ they have cranked that shit up to distasteful amounts. 40% of nu-gen dexes will have pokemon with a signature move that is often broken which is often the main contributor to powercreep.
Nobody has an issue with specific sig moves that only certain pokemon can perform or sig moves given to legendaries but why do shit like Palossand and Drednaw have signature moves? Sure, let them have it for one generation but why haven't moves like Shore Up been distributed? Hippowdon would be great with it and it would fit thematically too.
