I mean, this should be the line on the sand where the fandom goes 'this far, no farther', but instead, we get big names in the community that are for this purge because they want to either stay in Nintendo/Game Freak's good graces or get that sweet ad revenue by posting content day one of release.
In all honestly if we had all united this issue, this problem would take less then a week to resolve by the sheer amount of pressure applied, but instead, while we wallow in skirmishes concerning if the dex get cut in half or not, Game Freak is just moving ahead.
Another park that erk's me so much is the fact that for several fans who have been with us for as long as gen 1-3, this could very well be their last mainline pokemon game, and instead of demanding a better experience for us all, after years of having content cut after content cut, we just roll over.
I don't think I can be a part of this fandom anymore, especially if we have members that actively encourage this kind of shit.
