Eevee is catchable early, and in the current version Bianca uses one in her Route 2 battle with you. It currently becomes a Flareon/Vaporeon/Leafeon, depending on her starter - I couldn't re-script the fact that her Munna gets stolen, so an Espeon would mean two Psychic types for her. I like your thinking though.
As it stands Bianca has a Lucario for its empathetic aura-reading deal. What would a good equivalent for Cheren be?
