I'd rather just play as the pokemon themselves instead of play as a glorified chauffeur that the player characters are in mainline. I like how every pokemon, barring stuff like Ditto and Unown, are 100% usable, and even have chances to outclass even the best of legendaries. I think dungeon crawling is fun, and I like using what i've found to get through a dungeon. While I don't think the stories are as amazing as most other people, it's still orders better than hearing Lillie say "get back in the bag" for the 50th time. Finally, I just like helping other players, which is why I do a bunch of rescues and even write a couple guides on the games.
