Most of the time it seems that people are able to travel fairly freely between regions and they seem to see themselves in equal grounds, there is no xenophobic sentiment between the people
Pokemon currently lives in a utopia that is only disturbed by a few bad actors that end up almost causing destruction of the world because they are stupid and have poorly thought out plans, the "issues" they claim to exist would make sense in our world but 10 times out of 10 they end up being non-issues that they only claim to be an issue due to their distorted world view
This might all be bullshit because i am not really familiar with the lore of the evil teams post Gen 6 but until that moment in time this is my view on things
