It's been like that since 2015 and it's gonna keep being that until it doesn't work any longer. Why else did we get DLC for a pokemon game when in the past it was stated it would never get DLC because it would kill the worldview of pokemon.

Not gonna shit my pants and jump out the window next to me, thats what gonna happen if the DP remakes are "good". Pokemon Arceus will probably do really well and might start it's own path of new games. But stop kidding yourself if you honestly think pokken 2 will comeout anytime soon
