Finally done with Blue. I finished the game some days ago, but I got too lazy to update the template.
Dux got stomped to death by a Tauros in Giovanni's gym. It was at full life. I didn't realize Arbok had screeched at him as much as it did. Rest in peace, bro. Caught a Doduo to replace him, but to be honest, at this point in the game, there's not much stuff I can use it for besides Bruno's fighting mons.
After Giovanni, I went to battle Blue and his Alakazam almost fucked up everyone. Then I sacrificed Radiobody to paralyze him and win the battle. I thought I was gonna wipe to that fucker. Alakazam is broken as fuck.
I honestly didn't know what to do to replace him. I obviously wanted to replace him with a Magnemite, but then I realized it'd be worthless since I already lost my TM Thunderbolt and Thunder Wave. So I unboxed my Geodude since it learns Earthquake as a level up move and Ground is a nice type. Rock is kinda meh, but whatever.
After A LOT of grinding at Pokemon Mansion with the 2 new members, I went to the Pokemon League. Blov died in the first battle to Lorelei, though I didn't level him up enough. Bruno, Agatha and Lance were a piece of cake.
Then I got to Blue. I was thinking about setting up with Cleiton Rasta to just spam Earthquake/Strenght and defeat everyone, then I used Golem to save Earthquake PP in the other E4 members. He started with a Pidgeot, which was enough to use as a setup fodder. Had to use a hyper potion though. After a lot of Earthquaking, he sent out Gyarados. I though my Strenght would kill him in one shot, but it didn't, and he managed to land a Hydro Pump. I sent Sailor to finish the job with Blizzard and then I sent Roxxy, for the first time in the E4, to finish with Venusaur.
And that's it. I already started Yellow. I'll give a update after Brock.
