And considering you have millions upon millions of people using bank to store god knows how much data in pokemon, that COULD take a long ass time. Especially if you're making sure it's being done right AND backing up absolutely everything in case something goes wrong.
Actually no, forget everything I just said. There is no way that can work because they have to keep up to date with all the live transactions with the current bank that is STILL up and running right now. They would have to make the new bank compatible with the current servers for and update to ever work.
