It's automatically a
good thing because if the moderation is right, it doesn't matter how many users
there are, and more users just means more longevity. Which, I would think if
you spend a good amount of time in the room, is what you would want. So, at any
rate, I would say, yeah, just get rid of the fucking moderators, I mean what
are we doing? You're going to let a bunch of-- I mean, we're all weird dudes on
the internet. Alright? But you're going to let a bunch of weird dudes promote
their friends, power abuse, push you around, and what are you going to fucking
do about it? Are you just going to let it happen? I mean you've seen what
happens to people who disagree with the moderation team, you've seen what
happens. And it wasn't even about the leaking, which I admitted to. It was
about me having a disagreement with the moderators, about their moderation
style, about their characters as people, and eventually one of them power
abused, will not name any names, one of them power abused, and the moderators
did nothing. They just let it happen because I had insulted their character.
And I had made valid-- I had cast valid aspersions on their character, it
wasn't like I was making things up, which, we know the moderators are capable
of (a certain april fools' prank) so, when we've seen the moderators'
willingness to just fabricate things to manipulate people I wouldn't take
anything they say too seriously, and my appeal to the average showderp user
would be "How long are you going to let the moderators push you around? How
long are you going to let them define the character of the room, and define it
in a bad way?" It's bullshit, you know.
We keep the room alive. We are the
room, and there's this tiny minority of users who think because they are
friends with other moderators as well, they were promoted, they think they get
to determine our fates.
