It all feels so hollow. The EPIC Greninja return, the EPICNESS of Mega Lucario, Alain, the whole vibe of the PWC, the epic way that Ash keeps one-shotting his opponents because he's.. 'strong'. I don't know, bros. This show was a lot better in the middle when it was evenly focused on Ash & Goh doing their research or working on something as a duo. The whole
>this one is JUST an Ash episode
>and here's another episode that's JUST about Ash introducing an old companion to Goh
>okay now here's a GOH episode, it's only about GOH right now
>and now it's another BATTLE for ASH
pacing is wearing thin, and it all feels so arbitrary when you know Ash is going to at least make it to Leon. It's like we're just watching events unfold plainly, with almost no attempt at making it interesting, and there's hardly enough intersection between what Ash & Goh are doing.
I miss eps like pic related. Obviously the focus is on Ash or Goh primarily, in each episode, but the other is still there assisting and making an impact. Isn't that the point of dual protags?
