you get no rewards from any of those battles, not even the legendary pokemon you're fighting
the variable for the post-saki quests as far as I can tell does nothing
the girl has nothing for you even if you beat them (which I did by using CTRL)
the only reason to do it, like playing madame moto in general, is to just suffer through one of the most miserable games i've ever played
