>>54164924The Wild Pokémon we see are the ones looking for humans or are there for a specific other purpose. When they are not looking for humans Wild Pokémon behave more "wild" in places where only they can go and humans can't. However, I do think you are right. I think staff from Pokémon Centers regularly go around reviving fainted Wild Pokémon and giving them some care for some injuries. However, I doubt that they can do this to most Pokémon and certainly not all of them. Most Pokémon will be left out and have to survive.
>>54164951That's basically what I mean by "compressed". I mean their body is compressed in the same way data is compressed. When in their Pokéballs the Pokémon's body is kept in that compressed state. Their consciousness is also able to be treated as data by the Pokéball or it becomes uncompressed data but regardless of which it is this means the Pokéball can directly sense the Pokémon's consciousness to make them experience a simulated reality and allow the Pokémon to have some limited control over it. A simulation sounds far nicer than being shrunk to be kept in a spherical room that's only a bit bigger than you or having your consciousness put in stasis.
