>or are you implying high rank elo teams aren't used in tours too?sometimes? people have laddered with all kinds of crazy shit, doesn't mean it's good just means the player is consistently better than the average ladder shitter. that's how it is in every game, the high end of the ranked ladder is "good" but not tournament-level so you get away with more shit than you would in an actual competitive setting.
i liked aim's ambipom series because he's a good player and it's fun watching him do well with janky shit, but if it can't be pulled out in a tournament setting it's not a good strat
