Pic related is one of my favourite TV series of all time.
Appearance is everything to the higher ranking characters in the show and the struggle for power between the different factions (who present themselves as allies to one another) is amazing.
3 factions with their leaders forming a Triumvirate government (each with a 2nd in command) vying for power in the shadows whilst presenting a public image of peace and cooperation.
Over the course of the game through various interactions the leaders will each come to you with suspicions that one of the members of the Triumverate seeks to appoint themselves emperor and you have to "figure out" which of them is telling the truth (if any).
The end result could be the ousting of one or all leaders, with them being replaced by the respective 2nd in command, or one faction being exposed as entirely evil with the player character talking the vacant spot in the Triumvirate.
I really like the idea of the player character taking a role in the regional government as I think it would allow for some nice post game content. Something could be destroyed in the main story and you have options to replace it for instance. A building was destroyed in the final battle? Why not put a casino on its place? Or a type of park where creatures not native to the region appear?
Also the grunts can be legionnaires.
