>>27406383Probably because we didn't see it coming. In RT we already knew Gengar was villainous, and we were lead to believe Grovyle was too since it was established early on. Same thing for Hydreigon.
I think what's sad now is that any future villain will most likely be found out early on if they have any characteristic of being overly friendly, spoiling the surprise.How would this be avoided though?
