The 'girl' is the fairly popular addition who doesn't get that they should participate with more than one person and stop flirting with fucking everybody and the 'chad' was the RP veteran who thought he was hot shit and tried to weasel his way into a position of power in the group to make 'reasonable' demands that made the game less fun but more intricate to suit his wants. He got the 'girl' and a few other outsiders who weren't there at the start to start siding with him.
I ended up purging the lot out of the group and suddenly it got a whole lot more fun and relaxing again. People who are female and truly enjoy the game won't ruin anything but the fair-weather thots chasing for attention serve as a point for incoming usurpers to use as a vantage point by buttering them up and using their popularity as leverage against the old guard.
Know the signs and save your group before the cancer goes too far, otherwise you lose what made it fun in the first place.
