But even then it was pretty solid, you could mix and match a wide array of individual pieces and color them for a large amount of unique combinations, and perhaps it is true that too much of the development of the game was wasted in having to make all of those clothing options which need to be unique in every new game (unlike the Pokémon which are recycled and yet those are the ones they decided to cut first)
This is a step backwards in all possible ways because now all of the outfits are going to be theme-specific and are going to be pre-sets. Also this
>>51146852 they made the outfits available for both genders, but this isn't a statement of any kind on LGBT identities (even when so many of the characters have a very androgynous look) because they went out of their way to prevent males from wearing female clothes by not even allowing girls to wear skirts
