Getting a not-shit evo was the best thing that could ever happen to it though. Both have faded into obscurity since, which is okay too, they had their time. The mega is actually worse than base Steelix though thanks to the ability and item fucking, which is a horrible shame because it's design's fantastic.
If you really wanted to throw a bone, all it needed and needs is the move Recover, Gamefreak.
