An old pokemon gaining a new form is fine to use. An old favorite is also fine to use again.
Are you going to call everyone who played XY that used the Kanto starters genwunners? A lot of people use them because of the new forms.
Are you going to call people who played ORAS Hoenn babies because they played ORAS? Are you going to call them genwunners because they use a kanto mon there? Are you going to call them a johtofag because they use a johto mon? Are you going to call them a sinnohfag because they they're using Froslass, Gallade, or Dusknoir?
That's not how genwunners/johtofags/hoennbabies/sinnohfags/unovabortions/kalosfags/alolatards work, anon.
The point of being a genwunner is defending Gen I, this is Gen VII dumbass. Genwunners would hate how they created alolan forms, ruining the old pokemon they loved.
