I don't remember exactly where I left off, but I started from Mahogany and went into the Ice Path towards Blackthorn.
On Route 44, we met a very Calm and likeable Donphan. She took to our party rather quickly, seemingly very interested in King Fin. Phantastic went into the PC for now, but her help is very appreciated.
While inside the slip n' slide cave, I ended up bumping into a 2cool4school Flygon named Shades. I asked him to help guide us through the cave, but he wasn't having it. It took a bit of "convincing", but in the end he collaborated with us.
We ran into another of those cosplayers while inside the cave (seriously, who dresses in a kimono and geta inside an ice-covered cave?) and pelvic thrusted her loose, making her slide out of the cavern with a stuttered thanks and a red face.
Finally reaching Blackthorn, I decided to make the team for a swim. Suddenly Toothache noticed a baby Bonsly stuck in a rock in the middle of the lake. I couldn't just leave the poor thing there, so Olivia is our newest addition. Quite Naughty for a baby, Olivia loves Toothless and gets pissy if anyone else gets near him, even me. Some time in the bench might teach her how to play nice, so she goes into the box.
The Gym...didn't start well. Because of the 10% level increase, we're starting to see level 40s around, meaning we need to grind some more. Unfortunately, King Fin and Reptar will not get the chance. They fought bravely to shield the rest of the party, but the wounds were too great for them.
Clair, on the other hand, ended up having a mediocre team and we ran through her.
With our 2 Exp. Shares (one found in the Ice Path) and our newest Lucky Egg (also Ice Path), grinding should be a BIT less painful.
