I decided to play the Pokemon TCG 2 GBC game (English patched).
It's pretty fucking hard when you have no good cards.
I've been getting by with these guys. Running 2-2 Gyarados and 3-3 Kingler. There's also a 2-2 Wartortle in there. Don't have any Blastoise yet. At the moment I'm grinding against some dude who uses a shitty Fire/Colorless deck (I assume he has Charmeleon and maybe Charizard, as well as Rapidash, Arcanine, Ninetales and Flareon but I've never actually seen him evolve anything. He also runs Magmar and Kangaskhan.) who drops 2 packs every time I beat him.
I also don't have any Computer Search or Item Finder yet, and only 2 Professor Oak. My deck does however have 4 Bill, 4 Energy Removal and 3 Gust of Wind, among other random shit, so I'm doing decently.
I've also got a single Wigglytuff and Hitmonchan, so I'm on my way towards Do The Wave and Haymaker decks. What other good decks were there from the base-rocket era besides those and Rain Dance?
