>>50065922It’s really nice that Pokemon has not and will not ever put a Pokemon on a leash like this. Back when they introduced mega evolutions, the Pokemon would appear wearing their mega stones. But instead of wearing them on collars as some might expect, they were given accessories and jewelry. From the nearly human ones like Gardevoir, to the animalistic ones like Espeon. It was very dignifying. I see it as a subtle reminder that even though Pokemon largely look animalistic, and even though they largely act animalistic, they’re much more than that. Not pets, but very special life partners unlike anything we have in the real world.
