I played arc the lad which had monster taming as a side hussle, and it was 1000x better than this trash. Thus I quit.

Also stadium was built around r/b being buggy, you would be fucked if you didn't lvl to 100 and duplicate tms. Also there were no move deleter.

instead of the self insert blank slate dogshit in pokemon.

Menwhile gamerfreak was churning out shit like stadium, snap, puzzle league and"hey you pikachu" it was a fucking minefield.

A huge improvement from r/b, but still not the best.

Both manga encapsulated an interesing adventure,there was no need for headcannon rumors,etc. It was all there plain and simple. Instead of being disappointed by the games over and over again I turned to other Jrpgs with stories and gameplay more similiar to the manga.
