>>40014866Ok for reference the point of this design is it's sort of a parody of pika clones and those shitty bootleg pokemon toys you'll see. It's a pokemon that is only similar to pikachu in looks though convergent evolution and meant to kind of look like a pikachu bootleg you'd find in the trash basically, like you're searching for leftovers and instead get in an encounter with this thing. The problem is Im just not getting this design down. I tried going full possum before, people didnt like it and said it needed more to it so I tried to make it a bit more like a raccoon too, since they're also scavengers you'd find in the garbage but I cant get it to look right. Someone said add skeleton like parts to it so I tried. Gave it stripes since raccoons, pikachu's back, and ribs, but they looked terrible when looking like white ribs so I couldnt make that skeleton thing work. I couldnt make the head look like a skull either since white and that yellow are so similar and I need yellow to push the fake pika look. People also think it's electric type to Im trying to figure out how to make it not just read "electric" since I kinda wanted it to be something like dark normal to reflect that it's a creepy bootleg thing. I also dont want to lean into "possums fake their death" stuff either since that would distract from its point of being based on bootleg pokemon merch. Like I know Im doing something wrong and just looking like a fool but i cant figure out how to fix it. Sorry for the wall of text Im just really frustrated that I cant get this. I feel Ive went too far from the original design too
