I managed to get through Victory Road very easily with Feraligatr, who has now become Dracovish 2.0. Tomorrow I will complete my E4 planning and abuse this game's greatest oversight: the fact you can use Box Link to change teams between fights.

The only question now is how the fuck do I beat Wallace

Managed to get past Wattson thanks to a combination of Full Ride the Shedinja walling half his team, Horticulture 1v1ing the Flaafy, and Seismology cleaning up Magneton. Not only that, but I got to evolve Entomology into a beautiful Scizor, something which will bear fruit once we get to Norman

I've got a lot of really good encounters coming up, and a lot of my Pokemon are set to evolve by the Flannery cap (Masquerain, Poliwrath/Toed, Pelipper, Victreebell, Haunter/Gengar just from my box alone), so I think Flannery won't be too hard barring Torkoal and Flareon shenanigans
