I think Nuzlockes are great for finding bros, since you see just how baller some pokemon can be.

But my nigga forever and always will be Lileep and Cradily, which I got when I randomized my starters in Black 2 just for the sake of wanting something different.
I used Lileep in Emerald, but I just never appreciated how fucking awesome it is.
Cradily is in my top 10 pokemon design wise, and I use it in OU even though it's down in the depths of NU
In short, I guess bros come and go in all sorts of ways, and Nuzlockes definitely help you try out new pokemon, which generally leads to new bros.
