>Shedinja
It's my favourite Pokémon and quite adequate for road travel. It can hover close to the ground or fly wherever it wishes. Bad terrain and most weather conditions won't harm or hamper it, unless we trek through the desert or it decides to float down onto some Sneaky Pebbles.
>Lapras
Filename related. I'm pretty heavy, so not many Pokémon could work for this. Lapras isn't too big and is also quite mobile, making it a solid choice. Added plus that it may be able to carry extra passengers.
>Golurk
Filename doubly related. Discounting legendaries and all the birds, my only potential alternative would be a Salamence, yet that's still far too small. Golurk not only has jet-powered flight, making it less cumbersome to have me on board, he can also carry me in his arms.
>Cyndaquil
Small, cute and with a controllable big flame. Fireplace to cook? A moving light? Cyndaquil has it all.
>Aggron
This is a total beast. Sturdy, small enough to fit into most places and digs tunnels through and into places where he cannot fit.
>Zoroark (Shiny because I like it better)
Master of illusions, being capable to change its shape and that of its surroundings. Endless possibilities are available, from Zoroark pretending to be a person/another Pokémon to replicating environments I would wish to draw. I think it would be a nifty Pokémon to have at one's side when coupled with a Smeargle, for the artistically inclined.
