>>50284692Rejuvenation used to be worse in every conceivable way, but Reborn has taken a big nosedive these last few updates while Rejuv has such made massive attempts at improvement that I can't say that anymore. Rejuvenation's strengths now is that the characters are, on average, more likable, and the story isn't an unending fest of DARRRK LIKE MY SOUL WORLD IS PAIN horseshit. What you get in exchange, though, are constant obnoxious unfunny wacky anime or video game reference moments (a whole fucking PLOT important segment with massive reveals is just a Dangan Ronpa/Zero Escape ripoff), the story and cast constantly fellating the ludicrously godmode Mary Sue, Melia, and her various clones/siblings with superpowers that include shiny hunting. Game balance also makes Reborn look balanced.
Most egregiously, the plot seems to resent being Pokemon, and constantly uses humans with magic superpowers or robots instead of solving problems with, you know, Pokemon. The cast is also ludicrously bloated, see pic related, and that's only the people with official art. The story is also a fucking fever dream of time travel, ancient wizards who may have actually been an ancient tech corp, wizards having DBZ fights, people going super saiyan
including yourself, and a constant barrage of random literal whos that turn out to have plot importance, all while making sure to stop and fellate Melia every once in a while. I honestly don't know how to summarize Rejuvenation, or how it's even possible to post on an imageboard format without constant confusion.
Desolation is the least retarded, and I'd say almost good but then then game suddenly abandons its strengths and follows the same muh cinematic experience garbage Reborn and Rejuvenation do about halfway through. Given how the Deso people seem to be getting closer to the main Reborn and Rejuv people, I am very pessimistic about how it'll turn out. Which is disappointing, as I actually liked it a lot early on.
