Kabutops is my favorite Pokemon that i've never gotten to actually use. Water and Rock are such common types that there's almost nowhere to fit it on a team, you can't have a fashion ball on it till SMUSUSM, it doesn't evolve till 40 like it's some Unova mon, and it's one of those "High at, high def, and NOTHING ELSE" mons that are almost as cruddy and over common as "slow frail mixed attacker".
Even once it became unsustainable for me to make teams using only a regions natives, I still can't find a place on a team for it.
