Sure, sometimes Pokemon that happen to be featured in the anime appear, but the calendar simply isn't indicative of who's going to be featured in the anime. It just isn't. Otherwise plot changes would be spoiled up to a year in advance. I happen to have a calendar page in front of me--it's old, it's October 2013, never took it down. It features Lillipup, Volcorana, and Deerling. As I recall, they never were owned by any main cast member.
