I know this is /vp/, but I'm still astonished that people saw the extremely low encounter rates of newer pokemon when the 3DS games came and still bought them. I understand that inevitably there are going to be specific pokemon better than others, but after Unova it seemed liked GF barely gave players a choice with how limited the newly introduced pokemon were.
