I couldn't force myself to watch more than half of SM (the middle part) for multiple reasons: meh battles, Ash's new atrocious design, memefaces being forced every minute, return of the speedlines and overuse of stock animation (especially Z moves). Alola League was also mostly meh in my opinion, looking pretty mediocre for vast majority of the battles with the only real highlight being Pikachu/Naganadel vs topkek which I think ate whole league's budget lmao.
On the other hand PM is feeling more and more like the older seasons with Ash having a clear goal ahead of him, quality of the animation/artstyle improving over SM and the general feeling of it being way better for me than SM.
