>>57226659Whitechapel is dropping a new single tomorrow, so I guess that's an extra birthday present. My new keyboard and mouse come in the mail on Thursday.
>>57226014>TQAlex's beliefs have a solid amount of determinism in them (quantifying exactly how much is difficult and probably unnecessary), however the ideas of "fate" and "destiny" would make him cringe his eyes out, he would probably refer to "luck" in place of such concepts. A notable aspect about his self-image is how he believes that he's so on top of the world because he kind of was just born to be so, which is why he rejects optimism despite things going well for him and the notion of "hard work" getting him where he was; he was simply born "Godlike", likewise he despises the "go-getter" mentality because you're just trying to escape your predetermined confines e.x an ugly person trying to become confident when the world will always treat them like shit for being ugly (Especially a man). He thinks it's stupid because there are some things that you just cannot do no matter how hard you try, and that doing so will only lead to failure and thus more pain, so you should just accept what you are and leave being exceptional to him. Don't unspoiler this unless you've read Control Human Delete.
This leads to the weird "pajamas" situation where although he's really confident in his figure, he refuses to go out like that. Page 9, Boys don't wear... >TTYou know, I've been meaning to develop the villain of Alex's storyline for a while. I was going to post him last year in order to not end the year with only one OC but never got around to it.
I think the issue is that he's kind of a caricature. As a child he's just the "dumb fat bully" archetype and when he's under Alex's nose in Team Plasma he's basically just a generic grunt, and as a late teenager supplying illicit goods he's just a mafiosi archetype mostly distinguished by his strange "I'm just giving the people what they want" mentality.
