>>55256534It’s not that bad, shiny mechanics in gen 2 mean you can abuse breeding pretty hard, up to a 1/64 chance for a shiny. You can breed nearly a full shiny dex with your red gyarados, more if you use the glitch to get a shiny ditto.
Plus the odd egg has a straight up 1/8 chance of being shiny, 1/50 for a shiny magby specifically.
