Blaziken beating Wallace basically just comes down to the player getting lucky. I used Overheat, Rock Tomb, Double Kick, and Bulk Up on mine. I had to run Rock Tomb to get past Drake’s Salamence. One-shotting Wallace’s Pokémon was absolutely mandatory, because if I didn’t, they would one-shot me, unless I got very lucky and they didn’t use a STAB move like Surf or in Whiscash’s case, Earthquake. To do that, I needed to use Bulk Up twice, and to do that, I needed to lower Wailord’s HP so that Water Spout only did about 50 damage each time. Setting up on anyone but Wailord is not viable, because everyone has Surf except for Tentacruel, who has Hydro Pump. Two Bulk Ups lets Blaziken reliably one-shot Wailord, Ludicolo, Whiscash and Milotic with Double Kick. After Milotic it’s ALL luck. As soon as Tentacruel comes out, it’s a matter of will Hydro Pump miss? And for that matter, will any of my moves Crit? Because Gyarados has Intimidate, one of your Bulk Ups doesn’t count, meaning you need to crit with Rock Tomb or Gyarados will survive with red HP, and then one-shot you.
