So the general cohokisect-ness of S-Quetz is a pretty significant issue due to the fact that it's so batshitinsanelydesigned. I propose we break the rules, and make space quetz wider than the 96 pixel sprite limit so the spriters can actually get the design right for our box legendary. If you think about it, the player will only see the front of space quetz once in the entire game, at the climax of the storyline, and therefore will never appear in double battles, or in another trainer's possession. This removes problems with the sprite overlapping with other sprites on field. The only small issue would be the battle UI, and making sure the space wings go beneath it, but I'm pretty sure it's like that by default. I know no one likes to break the rules, but I think we might have to to not have a shitty disappointment for a legendary battle sprite.
