So here's what's going on with me:
I have a copy of Pokemon Emerald, along with an old Action Replay my friend gave to me a long time ago. I also have all the things required to transfer anything I catch from Emerald, ALL THE WAY to Pokemon Black 2 and White 2.
If I use the Action Replay, to force the game to give me nothing but a Shiny Pokemon EVERY TIME I encounter one. I SHOULD be able to transfer them to X and Y once Prease Underastandu comes out right?
I'm not messing with ANY of the STATS, just whether or not they are shiny.
