I still don't know what their problem with Cosplay Pika is. Just because there's no contests? So what? Feebas can evolve via maxed Beauty. There's no seasons anymore, but Sawsbuck's forms are still available.
It really is crazy how even thought it's their damn mascot, Pikachu and its evos get constantly shafted. No Spiky Pichu because reasons. Pikachu and Raichu are non-transferrable if they know Surf, one of the many moves they need to actually be worth a damn in battle. No Mega for Raichu. No Mega Pikachu (seriously, take Cosplay Pika, and make it Mega Evolve into pic related. Problem solved, Pikachu's design remains marketable).
Ash Greninja strikes me as the same thing. It COULD have been a Mega (it even has the rainbow light when it transforms in-game), but instead they've locked it behind an event, and forced it to KO an opponent with its limited STAB moves before transforming, and given it a guaranteed neutral nature, meaning nobody will fucking use it.
It's another waste of space marketing mon.
Which means non-transferrable since GF will want Sun and Moon to have something "special"
