In order for anything good to happen, Game Freak would have to:
>Abstain from making Ultra SwSh with the full dex and some "ultra" changes.>Be discouraged from doubling down on the shrunken National Dex by using the Sinnoh remakes to include the remaining mons (and also not arbitrarily shrink the dex there).>Patch in the national dex.>TPCi gives Game Freak more time in development for future games.>Game Freak recognizes that Pokemon needs improvement in challenge and post-game features, as well as a story that doesn't make the player feel dragged around.It wouldn't require a miracle for all the above to happen, but the stars would have to align on this one.
