>"Did you know his evolution can go even further in this game?"

>I get into a battle and Mega evolve Lucario
>Kid gets really excited
>Decide to show him the Pokemon in my PC while getting the ones that can Mega evolve
>"Wow! You have a lot of Star types too!"

>Smile and brush it off again
>Equip the appropriate stones on the appropriate Pokemon
>Let the kid get into various battles so he can Mega evolve them
>"Man, you're so lucky. I only have Pokemon Pearl."

>Tell him to try and get a Dark or Ghost type for her
>Play until my name is called
>Go in, get x-rays
>Come right back out and continue playing until the kid's name is called
>Say good bye to him
I thought it was gonna be a boring medical visit, but I was wrong. I'm glad I managed to brighten up that kid's day, especially since he just came from the hospital next door.
